By using Primer (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you are using Primer on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Primer provides a memory layer for AI agents — a CLI tool, local daemon, MCP server, and cloud relay that enable persistent context between AI agent sessions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
You agree not to use Primer to:
You own all memory data (facts, handoffs, context) that you or your agents write to Primer. We process this data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and any auth tokens generated by Primer. Report suspected unauthorized access immediately to security@getprimer.cloud.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The local daemon operates independently of cloud services — core memory functions continue to work offline. Cloud-dependent features (relay, cloud sync) may be unavailable during outages.
The Primer name, logo, and software are owned by us. The CLI tool source code is available under its stated license on GitHub. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that guardrails will prevent all unintended agent behavior. You are responsible for reviewing agent output.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Primer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or damage caused by AI agent actions.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via the CLI.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Primer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
